When installing threaded gas pipe we only use U.S.A. made quality Ward & Grinnell brand gas fittings due to serious defects in cheap Chinese made fittings flooding the market. We will not install dangerous fittings in your home unlike many plumbers do to save costs. Gas fittings from China are being imported with cracks & pinholes due to bad metallurgy. Our labor for unimpeded access to tank for a 40/50/80 gal electric or gas is typically $250-$350 (depending on installation complexity) plus cost of tank and associated fittings as needed. We never markup tanks, parts or fittings – you pay wholesale pricing! Below is a link to a wholesale tank provider so you can see the cost of a quality Bradford White hot water tank. We can help you find the right one for your application.
Although we only sell Bradford White we can install your own purchased tank with no implied product warranty, however we will not install customer supplied gas fittings if not made in the USA.
